Canadian Dental Care Plan
How does the Canadian Dental Care Plan work for denture wearers?
If you don’t have dentures or have dentures that are over 8 years old, you are eligible under the plan as long as you meet the other criteria.
Those are :
- You are a Canadian resident for tax purposes
- Not have access to employer/pension-sponsored or private dental insurance
- Have filed your tax return in the previous year
- Have an adjusted family income of less than $90,000
When you are eligible to apply (see dates below), go to Canada.ca/dental and fill out the application.
Once you are registered, you will receive a card and can then book an appointment for your new dentures.
