What type of denture do you need?

All of our dentures are made with premium quality teeth and materials that reduce wear and are easier to keep clean.

For those requiring full dentures on both upper and lower, we offer Premium and Premium Plus. The difference between the two is the Plus dentures measurements are taken using a face bow for more accuracy and placed on a precision articulator.

What is a full denture?

A full denture is for those with no teeth on the upper arch, the lower arch, or both.

Full dentures need to have a balanced occlusion. If they make contact on one side before the other it will cause the denture to dislodge. The fit is very important, having an intimate fit with the tissue is crucial. An ill-fitting denture creates sore spots that keep you from eating your favourite foods. Loose dentures are more likely to break, and you can’t have a confident smile if you have no confidence in your denture.

If you require a partial denture we have two options:

Acrylic Dentures are generally used as a temporary measure and held in place by wire clasps.

Cast Partials are lightweight cast metal frameworks that use clasps and rests on your teeth to hold the denture in place allowing greater bite force. These dentures are less susceptible to breakage and are very stable.

What is a Partial Denture?

Partial dentures are for people that have some teeth missing and are used to fill the spaces.

There are many different implant-based options available to denture wearers. Our favourite is the locator system that allows you to snap your dentures into place and easily remove them for cleaning. This system uses inserts that give four different levels of retention to be chosen by the individual.

Implants can be used to retain Full or Partial dentures, and you can restore up to 85% of your bite force.

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are surgically placed in your upper or lower ridge, where they serve as the roots of missing teeth. Implants can be used to support and retain your dentures.

Did you know that you can have a denture made before you have your teeth extracted? That means as soon as your teeth are removed the denture is inserted. This helps with healing and you do not have to go without dentures.

For partial denture wearers, if you need a natural tooth removed, we can add the replacement tooth to the denture in advance of the extraction.
